Name: Leslie Henley

History: Leslie grew up in a perfectly normal life. Her parents loved each other, and her, and since she was an only child, they were able to spend all their attention on her. Growing up in a suburban neighborhood outside Chicago, Les was happy in school and had a lot of friends. She never had an indication that she was different until she turned fourteen and decided to start a garden with her best friend. The differences between the their plants were subtle, at first. Leslie's plants would thrive and give off gorgeous flowers and huge pieces of fruit, while her friend's would just be average (when they grew fruit at all). After an argument in which her friend accused Leslie of sabotaging her plants, Les was amazed to see her garden grow right before her eyes in direct response to her emotions. In the months that followed, she struggled to keep her secret hidden from everyone, only to one day have her power erupt from her when she was attacked by a boy at school, and she caused the roses they were standing beside wrap around him and choke him to death.

After that, Les ran away from her home and has been on the run ever since, terrified to trust anyone and afraid that the police (or someone worse) would come after her.
